Safety & Consent Charter
True softness requires unshakeable trust. At DDLG FUN, consent is not a checkbox at sign-up—it is an ongoing, collaborative conversation between equal adults who prioritize each other's emotional well-being.
The Four Cornerstones of Healthy CGL Consent
Negotiate in an Everyday Adult Headspace
Boundaries, dynamic expectations, and comfort levels should always be discussed when both partners are calm, rested, and in an everyday adult headspace—never mid-scene or under emotional pressure.
Consent to One Thing Is Not Consent to Everything
Matching with someone or sharing a role badge does not imply automatic agreement to titles, rules, or daily check-ins. Every aspect of a dynamic is opt-in.
The Right to Pause or Step Back Anytime
Either partner—Little or Caregiver—can pause a dynamic, adjust a boundary, or return to normal adult communication at any moment without guilt or penalty.
Caregiver Bandwidth Is Sacred Too
Caregivers are human beings with their own work stress, emotional needs, and rest days. Healthy dynamics include clear signals for when a Caregiver needs support and decompression.
The Traffic-Light Check-In System
When someone is in Little Space or feeling overwhelmed, finding complex words can be difficult. We encourage all community members to use simple, unmistakable color check-ins alongside plain language:
Cozy, Safe & Happy
“I feel comfortable, emotionally secure, and happy with our current conversation, activity, or routine.”
Slow Down & Check In
“I'm feeling a bit unsure, tired, or overstimulated. Let's pause, check in gently, or switch to a calmer topic.”
Full Stop & Grounding
“Stop immediately. Let's step out of role/dynamic right away and check on each other as equal adults.”
Spotting Green Flags vs. Red Flags
- • Celebrates your boundaries and takes “no” or “not yet” with warmth and zero pressure.
- • Wants to get to know you as a whole person before rushing into Caregiver/Little titles.
- • Encourages your friendships, hobbies, career, and real-world support system.
- • Communicates openly about their own limits, schedule, and emotional bandwidth.
- • Demands instant obedience, titles, or authority in the first conversation.
- • Uses guilt-tripping (“If you trusted me, you would...”) to bypass a stated boundary.
- • Refuses to discuss limits in an adult headspace or dismisses check-in systems.
- • Attempts to move conversations off-platform immediately to avoid community moderation.
